The Cornell Institute for Public Affairs (CIPA) is home to Cornell University’s two-year Master of Public Administration (MPA) professional degree program.  Featuring an interdisciplinary curriculum and a broad range of concentration options, CIPA places a strong emphasis on experiential learning. Their Public Engagement program, in particular, is designed to provide students with real-world work experience.  Students are matched with government or nonprofit clients on a pro-bono basis to solve well-defined policy or management problems.  Each project offers the opportunity for students to hone their abilities as public affairs professionals, while providing clients with a valuable consulting service.
