The Volcker Alliance Launches the Up to Us Leadership Network Professional Pathways Program

At a time of rising federal debt and growing fiscal pressures, today’s policy choices directly shape economic stability, public trust, and the government’s ability to invest in future generations. The public finance field needs its next rising leaders who will drive fiscal policy reform and deploy sound, data-driven public finance strategies.

To build that constituency, the Volcker Alliance is launching the Up to Us Professional Pathways program, an innovative addition to the Up to Us Leadership Network supported by the Peter G. Peterson Foundation. Designed for students who have completed Up to Us programming on campus, this program provides more than 500 Up to Us alumni per year access to exclusive professional development activities, opportunities to network with field leaders in fiscal policy and public service, and membership in an expansive peer network committed to fiscal sustainability and the public good.
