Peyton Marshak is a program assistant on the public service education team at the Volcker Alliance, joining the organization in May 2025. He works on the Deans Summit, Service to Service, and NextGen National Student Network initiatives. In his role, Peyton supports the development and implementation of programming that strengthens pathways into public service and fosters collaboration across schools of public service.

Peyton brings a strong interest in public service and workforce development, informed by experience across federal, state, and nonprofit sectors. Prior to joining the Alliance, Peyton was a Zero Hunger Intern at the Congressional Hunger Center, supporting the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s School Meals Policy Team. He has also interned with the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Farm Service Agency, the U.S. Department of State, the Colorado Governor’s Office, and Evergreen Strategy Group.

Peyton earned a bachelor of arts in international political economy from Colorado College, where he was a Crown-Goodman Scholar, coached the club soccer team, and worked in the GIS Lab.
