Schools of public service have a unique role to play in preparing university students to productively engage with one another in the face of an alarming growth of political polarization on campuses and across the nation.

In collaboration with the Constructive Dialogue Institute (CDI), 14 schools of public service are developing new or adapting existing courses to teach skills for collaborating across difference, embedding CDI’s signature Perspectives program within their larger curricula. Participants include:

A white paper that shares qualitative and quantitative data on the outcomes of the project and implications for public service education is expected to be released in the summer of 2025.
