Jackie Speedy joined the Volcker Alliance in September 2026 as a Senior Director. She leads the design, implementation, and evaluation of the Alliance’s public service education and leadership programs, including the Constructive Dialogue Scaling Initiative and the Summer Policy Academy. She also builds partnerships across sectors and ensures the Alliance's programs strengthen one another, widening pathways into public service careers.

Jackie came to the Alliance after close to two decades at Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy, where she most recently served as Associate Dean of Academic Programs. As a member of the college's senior leadership team, she oversaw the strategy, operations, and continuous improvement of its professional master's programs. She helped shape and scale a portfolio serving some 1,700 students across campuses in Pittsburgh, Washington, DC, Los Angeles, and Australia, championing a student-centered approach and cross-disciplinary collaboration at the intersection of public policy and technology. Jackie also conceptualized and launched a master’s certificate in Managing AI Systems, the first of its kind at the college. She continues to serve as an Executive Fellow at Carnegie Mellon, teaching leadership development seminars through the Center for Leadership Studies.

Jackie began her career at the Coro Center for Civic Leadership, a nonprofit that trains emerging leaders in public affairs, where she managed an internship matching program to attract and retain young talent in the Pittsburgh region. She has been recognized for her civic engagement in Pittsburgh, including being named one of Pittsburgh Magazine's "40 Under 40." Jackie graduated from Allegheny College with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and holds a Master of Public Management from Carnegie Mellon University.
