Ella LaBarre joined the Volcker Alliance in July 2026 as a program assistant in support of the public service education team. Prior to working with the Alliance, she graduated Grinnell College with a Bachelor of Arts in English as well as a concentration in Education Studies. At Grinnell, Ella worked for her college's office of marketing and communications, literary arts magazine, was an active member of her college choir and conducted research with mentorship from education studies faculty.

Additionally, throughout her undergraduate studies, Ella committed herself to a variety of public service-related initiatives including but not limited to serving a summer AmeriCorps term with the Grinnell Education Program, interning for The Marcus Harris Foundation, volunteering at and student teaching in the Grinnell-Newburg School district, and participating in the Next Generation Service Corps Summer Policy Academy. These experiences and more have informed her interest in and dedication to supporting the public service workforce.
