The Volcker Alliance Welcomes Christopher Reed On Board

The Volcker Alliance is excited to welcome our newest staff member, Christopher Reed, to the team. As a program assistant, Mr. Reed provides support for a variety of the Alliance’s initiatives, including G2U.

Mr. Reed graduated from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut in 2019 as a double major in Government and Biology. Previously, he interned at the Washington, D.C. office of Representative Jared Huffman and at the Napa, California district office of Representative Mike Thompson. Mr. Reed has also spent time in San Diego working for the Sierra Service Project, a nonprofit dedicated to providing free construction services to homes and small businesses in localities throughout the western U.S. With his prior nonprofit and government workforce experience, Mr. Reed will be a tremendous asset to the Alliance.

Raised in Santa Rosa, California, Mr. Reed now resides in Manhattan. When he’s not pursuing his passion for effective governance, he enjoys playing and recording music.

Mr. Reed is the third recent graduate to join the team in 2019, along with Maya Corrin and Sarah Morningred.
