Students will engage with a variety of different professionals who play an imminent role ensuring the U.S. Congress remains effective and running. The professionals will provide a practical overview of how a bill becomes law.

Walk through the halls of Congress, gain a deeper understanding of U.S. and the government’s history. Participants will leave the nation’s Congress feeling inspired and empowered!

Our keynote speaker, Candice Jones, Chief Executive Officer at the Public Welfare Foundation Celebrate, will highlight her time as the Director of the Illinois Juvenile Justice and a White House Fellow. She will reflect on the current state of our nation, and charge students with a call to action.
