Idalis Foster joined the Volcker Alliance in December 2022. In her role as communications manager, Idalis leads the organization's comprehensive communications strategy. She directs all external communications initiatives and oversees the Alliance's digital presence, including website content, social media engagement, and the production of the organization's annual report.
Idalis previously served as community engagement and administrative coordinator for Integrity First for America, the non-profit organization behind the successful landmark lawsuit against the neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and hate groups responsible for orchestrating the violence in Charlottesville in August 2017. Prior to that role, she worked at the NYC Department of Education in multiple communications roles within the Division of Early Childhood Education. She managed digital communications platforms, developed stakeholder newsletters, and executed strategic paid media campaigns for citywide early education initiatives, including EarlyLearn, Head Start, 3-K for All, and Pre-K for All programs.
Idalis holds a bachelor of arts in communications, with a concentration in journalism, from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.
