Collage FLSPS Dinner

Nisha Botchwey, dean of the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota and co-chair of the Future Leaders of Schools of Public Service initiative, graciously hosted initiative participants and friends of the Alliance at the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) 2024 Annual Conference: Building Resilient Communities. The dinner was an opportunity for guests to network and build relationships amongst the two program cohorts and mentors.

We also had the honor of being part of the ASPA Presidential Panel, Attracting and Preparing the NextGen of Public Servants and Leaders, moderated by our senior director of the Next Generation Service Initiatives, Brett Hunt. Brett led a discussion with pioneering NextGen Service partners from around the country including Roger Hartley, dean of the College of Public Affairs at the University of Baltimore; John Bartle, dean of the College of Public Affairs and Community Service at the University of Nebraska at Omaha; and Michelle Allgood, assistant professor of the School of Public Administration at the University of New Mexico.
