The University of Kentucky’s Martin School of Public Policy & Administration was established in 1976 and prepares public and non-profit organization leaders of tomorrow. Its academic programs include Masters Degrees in Public Administration, Public Policy and Public Financial Management as well as a PhD in Public Policy. The Martin School is ranked among the top twenty five schools of public policy and its specialization in public financial management and budgeting is ranked in the top five in the nation by U.S. News and World Report. Its faculty conducts and publishes research in leading public policy and public financial management journals. In addition to its academic programs, the Martin School’s executive and outreach programs focus on contemporary policy issues and attract scholars and administrators from around the nation and foreign countries.
